Cannon Beach, Oregon

This is where the ending scenes from The Goonies was filmed.  It was also Amanda's first time to the Pacific Ocean.  We visited Ecola State Park, saw the sea stacks featured in the movie, walked along the beach and were able to go to the lookout point to get a birds-eye view of the beach.
